Ted Talk Tuesday: Quick Posture Fix Equals Confidence & Success

body-language-power-poses

This is very much a fake-it-till-you-make-it post. Amy Cuddy set up an experiment to see whether power-posing (like the people in the top row) has any effect on your confidence, and, spoiler alert, it does. Apparently if you power pose for a few minutes your testosterone levels increase and you’ll come across to other people as more likeable – which is great for job interviews – and confident. You know what I’ll be doing before my next co-op interview!

All the best,

Dana
